HAVE DONKEY/WILL TRAVEL!

Last November we escorted four of our foals to Norway.  When we received a request to purchase the jennets we did a lot of research to determine the best way to ship them.   I located an agent who took care of all the details.

The USA requires that equine be quarantined for 30 days prior to shipping.  After that, they are shipped by KLM Airlines from Houston to Amsterdam.  At the Amsterdam facility they are checked by a vet and then released to a local transport company that will deliver them to their final destination.  Depending on the destination an average price for shipping and quarantine charges would be about $2000 -2500 US per animal.  This charge is the responsibility of the buyer and is to paid directly to the shipping agent.
